Wax Kitchen Candles Co can cater to a variety of events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and more. We offer a variety of candle making sessions to choose from, as well as custom candle making  classes, and services.

WKC can also create custom candles for other events, such as team building workshops, baby showers, anniversary parties, ladies night, reception parties, wax & wine sessions.

What are the minimum and maximum number of guests for a party or event?

1. Depending on the size and sq. footage of your designated space and seating arrangement. Minimum number of guests for a private candle making session  is six (6) people. Max depends on the size of the space for candle making. 
Please note, public classes and events are sometimes held in public and private ownership venues where Wax Kitchen has an agreement with the proprietor to use the space in advance. Guests must follow the rules and guidelines of the venue to participate.

Wax Kitchen Candles Co. does not provide, nor is responsible for outside food and beverages at its' privately held events. For our Wax & Wine add-ons to parties, guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate. Children are not allowed. Request for Wax & Wine services are at an additional cost to the party package, and must be made 1 week in advance of the party date.

For parties at held at our venue locations: WKC can approve outside catering at private party events. Request to bring outside food and beverage must be made via email to Wax Kitchen Candles Co.  1 week prior to the event date for approval. The Guest Party Host is held responsible for knowing guest allergies, proper storage of food and beverages before, during and after the event and providing alternate menu selections if requested.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my event?

Accepted Answer

A deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposit amounts made are non-refundable, as they represent the cost of reserving a specific time slot and the associated preparations for your party, including customized materials and staff scheduling.

The deposit amount does not constitute a separate charge but is applied towards the total cost of your chosen party package.

We understand that unexpected events may arise. In case of a cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible. Any remaining balance on your booking will be canceled. We are happy to work with you to reschedule your party for a mutually agreeable date.

Do I need to sign a waiver to participate?

1. Yes, we ask that all participants, and hosts sign a general waiver of liability. Our Candle class sessions, public events, and private sessions are dealing with temperature heated wax that can cause injury if not carefully used as instructed. To protect the safety of our staff, participants, and all parties involved, a general liability waiver is common practice to participate in any Wax Kitchen Candle events, workshops, classes. 
2. All Private Parties the host is responsible for signing the right to waive liability agreement.

What are the different payment options for parties and events?

Accepted Answer

Wax Kitchen Candles Co accepts cash, credit cards, PayPal and Venmo payment options. Private parties are provided an invoice in advance for deposit or full payment amounts  at the time of booking.  Remaining balances must be paid 72 hours in advance for the event date.

Add-on options such as Wax & Wine must be made at least 1 week in advance. Add -on options are paid at the time of request.

What are the cancellation and refund policies for parties and events?

Wax Kitchen Candles Co has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your event within 24 hours of the event, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

To book Wax Kitchen Candles Co for your event, please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date, by completing the Events Info Form. We will need to know the date, time, and location of your event, as well as the number of guests. We will also need to know what type of candle arrangement or group session you are interested in.
